Exxon Mobil has announced that it will reduce its workforce by 2,000 positions, representing 3%-4% of the total employees, mainly in Norway and the European Union, without layoffs in the USA. The company justifies this measure by the need to improve efficiency and to adapt the structure of regional offices to the decline in global oil prices.
