The heatwave in southern Europe has brought record temperatures, with 46°C in Andalusia and 40°C in Madrid. 21 cities in Italy are on high alert and hospitals are reporting an increase in sunstroke cases. Measures such as "climate refuges" and freebies for seniors are being implemented. Scientists emphasize that these phenomena are indicative of global warming, and fire risks and health problems continue to increase. Temperatures will remain high in the coming days.
