According to the independent Russian publication Astra, the city of Volgograd was shaken by explosions, followed by a fire, prompting the issuance of a missile threat alert in the region. Video footage shared on social media shows smoke rising above the city, coming from a military factory that produces launchers for strategic missile systems. The governor of the region, Andrey Bocharov, confirmed that 'high-speed aerial strikes' from Ukraine hit the city during the night, damaging the production facilities of a company in the Krasnooktyabrsky district. Following the attack, 10 people were injured and are receiving medical care, but the fires were quickly extinguished and no damage to residential buildings was reported.
