In the port of Hamburg, a large fire caused several explosions during the night, after the flames were extinguished following more than 40 hours of intervention. Two containers were affected, and firefighters used water cannons to control the fire. Emergency services created water curtains to prevent the spread of the fire, and approximately 30 firefighters remained on site to prevent a possible rekindling. The investigation into the causes of the fire will begin once the situation has stabilized.
