An aviation bomb, weighing approximately 225 kilograms and dating from World War II, was discovered in the center of Bratislava. Authorities ordered the evacuation of several residential blocks and the closure of an important bridge over the Danube, simultaneously halting public transport and road traffic in the area.

The measures were taken as a precaution, and specialists are set to defuse the device on Tuesday, by noon.
