Estonia announced that, on the night from Monday to Tuesday, it detected drones in its airspace and in its vicinity, also finding drone debris on the ground. A spokesperson for the Estonian army stated that several drones launched by Ukraine at Russian military targets near the border with Estonia may have strayed, thus entering Estonian airspace.
Similar incidents have also been reported in Latvia and Finland, with Latvia opening an investigation after drone debris was found, and Finland confirming that a detected Ukrainian drone was carrying explosives. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Ukraine is cooperating with the Baltic countries and Finland to prevent future incidents of this kind, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation in the context of these challenges.
