Elon Musk was nominated by Norwegian parliamentarian Marius Nilsen, Julian Assange was nominated by a left-leaning Norwegian MP, and Donald Trump was nominated by a US congresswoman. Musk was nominated for his strong defense of the right to dialogue and freedom of expression, Assange for his exposure of Western war crimes, and Trump for his role in promoting peace.
