Sean 'Diddy' Combs, recently sentenced to over four years in prison for federal prostitution charges, will be eligible for release in 2028. His attorney, Teny Geragos, requested that Diddy be moved to FCI Fort Dix, where he could address issues related to drug abuse and would have better access to family visits and rehabilitation programs. Fort Dix, located on a military base in New Jersey, houses over 4,100 inmates and is conveniently located near New York and Philadelphia. Diddy was convicted on July 2 and was charged with transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution, being acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and human trafficking. While in prison, Diddy has been subjected to constant 'suicide watch' and has reported inhumane conditions, including limited access to clean water and inadequate food. The judge denied his request for a new trial before sentencing, stating that the evidence against him is overwhelming.
