USA: At least ten people were injured as a result of the tornadoes that struck northern Oklahoma.

The northern part of Oklahoma was hit by several tornadoes on Thursday, injuring at least ten people, according to KOCO News, an ABC News affiliate.

Emergency teams are involved in search and rescue operations, especially in Enid, a city with about 50,000 residents, where the tornado caused significant damage, including at Vance Air Force Base. Video footage shared online shows a rapidly moving column of air in contact with the ground and destroyed homes.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has called for prayers for the affected community, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. Enid Police spokesperson Cass Rains confirmed that people have been reported trapped in homes and extensive damage in the area.
