On Sunday, a fire broke out at Gabriel House, a care and assistance center in Fall River, Massachusetts, causing several deaths and injuries. About 70 people were in the center at the time of the incident. Firefighters responded quickly, rescuing many residents, but some were pronounced dead at the scene. Five firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
