Sébastien Lecornu, appointed prime minister on September 9, resigned from his position on Monday morning, and his resignation was accepted by President Emmanuel Macron. Criticism arose after Lecornu revealed part of his government composition, and he was set to present the general policy statement before parliament on Tuesday.
