China Eastern Airlines has launched the longest direct flight, on the route Shanghai - Buenos Aires, covering a distance of 19,631 km and lasting up to 29 hours.

China Eastern Airlines has set a new world record in aviation by inaugurating the longest direct flight in the world, on the route Shanghai - Buenos Aires. Flight MU745 took off from Shanghai Pudong Airport, carrying 282 passengers.

The total distance of the flight is approximately 19,631 km, and the estimated duration is 25.5 hours outbound and up to 29 hours on the return, due to headwinds. This achievement highlights the progress made in the field of aviation and global connectivity.
