During a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sibiga, Wang Yi, a Chinese official, emphasized the importance of maintaining China's relations with Ukraine on a positive path. He expressed Beijing's desire to contribute to the stability of the region, although he did not provide specific details about the volume or form of aid. This statement comes in the context of a new round of diplomatic negotiations scheduled in Geneva, between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, aimed at identifying solutions for the conflict in Ukraine. Experts believe that China's involvement could significantly influence international negotiations. Beijing aims to improve economic and diplomatic relations with Kyiv, while simultaneously maintaining a delicate balance with Moscow. This action is seen as a concrete gesture of support, which could enhance China's global image.
