The naval exercises, dubbed 'Joint Sea-2025', kicked off near the port of Vladivostok and include underwater rescue operations, air defense and sea battles. The participation of four Chinese ships, including destroyers, alongside Russian vessels underlines the growing economic interconnectedness between the two countries. The exercises come ahead of Vladimir Putin's visit to China, where he will attend a summit and military parade. China continues to support Russia over the invasion of Ukraine, strengthening bilateral relations.
