The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest Municipality (CCIB) has announced the opening of a representation office in Tokyo, aimed at expanding international presence and strengthening economic relations between Romania and Japan. The office will be led by Bogdan Ioan Hossu and will ensure the institutional representation of CCIB in relation to Japanese authorities, government organizations, and chambers of commerce. Iuliu Stocklosa, the president of CCIB, stated that this initiative is an important step in supporting Romanian companies interested in the Japanese market. Hossu highlighted the potential for collaboration in areas such as technology, energy, agriculture, and tourism, emphasizing that the new office will facilitate access for Romanian companies to business opportunities in Japan. This opening is seen as an essential step in increasing bilateral trade exchanges.
