Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has been summoned to give evidence in a case in which French prosecutors are investigating the possible involvement of several people close to former President Nicolas Sarkozy in changing the deposition of a Franco-Lebanese intermediary. She is a suspect in the probe on suspicion of helping to conceal contacts with a journalist and tabloid owner charged in the same case.
