Three people died and nine others were injured after a hangar under construction at Boise Airport in Idaho collapsed.

The tragedy occurred Wednesday around 5 p.m. in a privately owned metal-framed hangar. Five of the injured are in critical condition. Emergency crews worked in difficult conditions, with special rescue efforts needed for some of the victims. The authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse.
