On Tuesday evening, Hamas handed over the bodies of four hostages as part of the ceasefire mediated by the US, after releasing the last 20 hostages alive on Monday. Three bodies have been identified as belonging to individuals kidnapped on October 7, 2023, but the fourth does not match the list, and Netanyahu accuses Hamas of violating the agreement. The incident, similar to a previous error, complicates diplomatic efforts, while two of the identified bodies were buried on Wednesday in the presence of thousands of Israelis.
