On Sunday morning, a violent bee attack in the center of Aurillac led to the hospitalization of three people, including an 80-year-old woman with cardiac shock. In total, 24 people were stung by bees from a beehive on the roof of a hotel. The mayor said the hive, which has been there for more than a decade, had no previous problems. The bee aggression was probably caused by Asian wasp attacks and the hive will be removed to prevent future incidents.
