Amazon is announcing an ambitious plan to invest in the UK, its third most important market, including the construction of two logistics centers in the East Midlands, scheduled for 2027, and two more in Hull and Northampton, to open in 2024 and 2025. This expansion will create around 8,000 jobs. Amazon will also upgrade existing infrastructure and expand its London headquarters. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has praised the move, but the company faces an investigation by UK authorities.
