As of now, over 840 million euros have been raised from 340,000 donors from 150 countries. However, additional funds are needed to complete the full restoration of the cathedral, which was already in a precarious state before the fire in 2019. The organization has launched a new appeal for donations for restoration work on the sacristy, the rose windows of the cathedral, the facades of the transept, the presbytery, the nave, and the back of the towers. The cathedral was reopened on December 7, 2024, already attracting over 11 million visitors.
