The President and Prime Minister of Lithuania have been evacuated to shelters due to an alert regarding the presence of a drone. The incident also led to the evacuation of members of the Seimas, the Lithuanian parliament, who were taken to underground shelters.
The Lithuanian army issued a call to the population, urging citizens in several regions of the country to take shelter.
Additionally, flights from Vilnius International Airport have been suspended.
Residents of the capital received alert messages on their mobile phones, urging them to immediately head to shelters and take care of their families. This alert comes after a similar incident in Estonia, where a lost Ukrainian drone was shot down by a Romanian NATO F-16.
