Albinen, a village in Switzerland, has relaunched a financial program to attract new residents, offering 25,000 euros for each adult under 45 years old and 10,000 euros for each child under 18 years old. The conditions include a commitment to live in the village for a minimum of ten years and to purchase or build a home worth at least 200,000 Swiss francs.
This initiative comes in the context of a severe demographic decline, which has led to the closure of the local school. Albinen, located at an altitude of 1,300 meters, is known for its alpine landscapes and outdoor activities. Other European locations, such as cities in Italy and Greece, have implemented similar programs to attract new residents by offering financial incentives and benefits for families.
