Three weeks after the tragic crash of an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, investigators are seriously investigating the possibility of a major technical failure. Analysis of black box data and flight simulations suggest that simultaneous engine failure could be responsible. Suspicious details, such as incomplete retraction of the landing gear and activation of the emergency propeller, reinforce suspicions. The tragedy, which claimed 241 lives, is considered India's worst in decades. The investigation continues with the support of Boeing teams and US safety authorities.
