The latest survey conducted by the institute Insa shows that AfD has gained one percentage point, reaching 27%, which represents the highest score ever obtained by the party. In contrast, the CDU/CSU Union lost one point and dropped to 24.5%, falling behind AfD. SPD decreased to 14.5%, and the arithmetic coalition between the Union and SPD would only gather 39%. The Greens and Die Linke remain relatively stable, with 11% and 10.5% respectively. The BSW and FDP parties are below the entry threshold in the Bundestag, with 4% and 3.5%.
Regarding the popularity of politicians, SPD leaders Lars Klingbeil and Bärbel Bas are improving their positions, while CDU representatives are losing ground. Chancellor Friedrich Merz has dropped to 18th place, while Alice Weidel from AfD has gained ground, entering the top 10. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius remains the most appreciated politician. The results of the survey, conducted between November 28 and December 1 on a sample of 2002 people, suggest a constant redistribution of votes and a dissociation between the personal perception of politicians and the electoral performance of the parties.
