Klieber Morán, a 3-year-old boy, was rescued from the rubble in La Guaira, one of the most affected areas by the earthquakes on June 24, which caused nearly 2,000 deaths and over 10,000 injuries. Rescuers broke into applause when they pulled the boy out, who received medical care and was transported to the hospital, where his condition was stable.

The President of the Venezuelan Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, emphasized that Klieber's rescue demonstrates that there is still hope, despite the large number of victims and destruction. Following the earthquakes, approximately 30,000 people were in the area, and international teams came to help. The situation remains critical, with shortages of food and medical services under extreme pressure.

The UN refugee agency has requested $15 million to provide emergency assistance. Recently, 47 tons of humanitarian aid arrived in Venezuela, including medical kits and essential supplies. Locals continue to search for the remains of the missing, and tensions are rising in the community due to difficulties in accessing aid.
