The common reed warbler, also known as the grivan, ground dog or spotted knotweed, was once considered a pest but is now a priority in conservation programs. Although it is endangered, research shows that it still exists in Romania, where three species of Cricetus cricetus can be found hidden in grassy, cloistered fields.
