Up to 11 am, men and urban areas dominate over women and rural areas at the top of voter turnout in the first round of the presidential election on May 4, 2025

52% of people who had already voted by 11am were men and only 47% were women. At the same time, 56.07% of those who have voted come from urban areas and 43.93% from rural areas.

In total, 2,608,419 Romanians had voted by 11am, compared to 2,042,459 in November 2024.
