At 12:00, voter turnout in the early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria reached 17.7%, according to provisional data from the sociological agency Trend, presented by the NOVA channel. This represents an increase compared to 14% during the same period of the election in the fall of 2024, suggesting a stronger mobilization of voters.

Polling stations opened at 7:00 AM, and approximately 6,575,151 citizens have the right to vote. Voting will end at 8:00 PM, but it can be extended until 9:00 PM if there are voters in line. The leader of the Progressive Bulgaria party, Rumen Radev, called on citizens, including those in the diaspora, to participate en masse in the vote to combat bought votes.

Radev, considered a favorite, voted with a voting machine and emphasized the importance of this moment for significant political change in Bulgaria. The electoral process has proceeded without major incidents until noon.
