UDMR President Kelemen Hunor has said that the Union will have its own candidate in the presidential elections in order to highlight the strength of the Hungarian community in Romania. Hunor criticized the delay in announcing the election date, saying the ruling coalition is not ready and is speculating. The UDMR had its own candidate in the first round of all presidential elections.
