In the first round of the presidential elections, Nicușor Dan was the leader in five sectors of Bucharest, with the best results in Sector 1 (43.68%) and Sector 6 (44.93%). George Simion, the AUR candidate, won Sector 5 with 34.01%. Overall, George Simion received the most votes, followed by Nicușor Dan, who entered the second round with around 1.97 million votes.
