UDMR leader Kelemen Hunor emphasized in an interview that a victory for AUR leader George Simion would pose a serious threat to Romania and minority communities. He called for mobilization for the second round of the presidential elections, arguing that the election of Nicușor Dan is a responsible decision. Hunor explained that the results of the first round, in which Simion obtained more than 40%, reflect the anger accumulated in society due to previous governments and the annulment of previous elections, stressing that these tensions have led to increased support for the AUR.
