Daniel Băluță, the PSD candidate for the Capital City Hall, discussed his intentions during an interview at Observator. He stated that he will continue the projects initiated by Nicușor Dan, such as the principle of radials and the construction of infrastructure on the median ring of the Capital. Băluță emphasized the importance of restricting construction within the city, mentioning that Bucharest is too narrow and crowded. Another of his objectives is the expansion of Bucharest, either as a metropolitan area or as an integral part of the city, taking advantage of legislative changes in the field. He highlighted that proper urbanization of the metropolitan area is essential for the normal development of the city, so that residents can benefit from a better quality of life. Băluță mentioned the experience of sector 4 in attracting European funds, emphasizing their importance for the development of the city.
