On the first day of the National Assessment simulation, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education, Sorin Ion, stated that there are solutions for schools that did not participate in the simulation due to the teachers' boycott. He emphasized that schools or inspectorates can organize their own simulations, using subjects developed by specialists from the National Center for Curriculum and Evaluation. The Ministry can provide access to the digital assessment platform, ensuring conditions similar to those of the official simulation. Ion mentioned that the Ministry of Education respects the teachers' decision to boycott the testing, but emphasized that organizing the simulation was an obligation. Education unions have criticized the Government for calls for responsibility, accusing it of irresponsibility towards the future of students. There are also discussions about possible actions for a general strike in education, in case appropriate measures are not taken.
