The National Union of Judicial Clerks DICASTERIAL has announced protests in courts and prosecutor's offices, after officially rejecting the draft of the new salary law, accusing the Government of ignoring the demands of auxiliary staff in Justice. Following the decision adopted on May 27, between June 2 and June 5, current activities will be partially suspended, and the public schedule will be reduced. On June 4, clerks will completely stop their activities between 08:00-12:00.
The union argues that the project maintains an unfair salary grid and could block the incomes of auxiliary staff for another five years, generating additional costs for the state through litigation. It also warns that reducing salary coefficients will lead to higher subsequent expenses. Protests could escalate, and the union threatens extensive public actions if the demands are not included in the final form of the law. Tensions are rising throughout the entire budgetary system, affecting the staff shortage in courts and prosecutor's offices.
