Roxana Mînzatu, Vice President of the European Commission, announced in Brussels that the Erasmus+ program will benefit from a budget of over 5 billion euros in 2026, aimed at mobility, training, and educational projects in Europe. The funds will support skills development, social inclusion, digital and green transition, as well as support for Ukrainian students and teachers.
The announcement was made during the European Education and Skills Summit, which is attended by over 500 education and labor ministers from the EU, along with organizations in the field. The Erasmus+ 2026 program will provide mobility opportunities for over one million participants and will involve over 100,000 organizations that can submit projects through the national Erasmus+ agencies.
