Over 143,000 twelfth and thirteenth-grade students begin the simulation for the 2026 Baccalaureate, with the Romanian language test on March 23. Access to the classrooms is allowed until 8:30 AM, and the exam will last 3 hours, according to the Ministry of Education and Research. The grades obtained will not be recorded in the register unless students request this through a written application, having the opportunity to discuss the results with teachers to improve their preparation. The simulation will take place in 1,364 high schools, representing 95.59% of the total, and the evaluation of the papers will be carried out by two evaluators, at least one of whom will be part of the body of evaluators for national exams. The time allocated for completing the papers is 3 hours, starting from the moment the subjects are distributed to the students.
