The Ministry of Education has established the schedule for the 2027 National Assessment

The Ministry of Education and Research has announced the schedule for the 2027 National Assessment for eighth-grade students. The mock exams will take place in March, while the examination itself will be held from June 22 to 25, 2027.

The first mock exam, in Romanian language and literature, is scheduled for March 16, followed by mathematics on March 17. Students studying in the languages of national minorities will take the exam in their mother tongue and literature on March 18. The mock exam results will be announced on March 30.

The National Assessment will begin on Tuesday, June 22, with the written Romanian language and literature exam. The mathematics exam is scheduled for Thursday, June 24, while the mother tongue and literature exam will take place on Friday, June 25. The preliminary results will be posted on June 30, by 12:00 p.m.

From June 30 to July 2, students will be able to review their papers and file appeals. Reviewing the paper is not mandatory in order to request a reassessment. Appeals will be resolved between July 3 and 6, and the final results will be published on July 7. The full schedule will be available after the official document is published in the Official Gazette.
