According to some sources in education, teachers in Romania have decided to boycott the simulations of the National Assessment (March 16-18) and the Baccalaureate (March 23-26), invoking the right to freedom of conscience. They believe that the Bolojan Government is acting to the detriment of the educational system and their professional status. The call for a boycott highlights the pressures exerted on school directors to organize the exams and expresses dissatisfaction with government measures that affect education.

Education unions, including the Pre-University Education Union of Hunedoara, claim that over 50% of teachers have joined the boycott initiative. In response, Minister Dimian stated that the majority of schools are ready to organize the exams. Union representatives from Hunedoara also mentioned rumors about increasing the teaching norm to 24 hours and eliminating certain bonuses, demanding recognition of the effects of Law 141/2025 and warning about possible negative developments in education.
