National Assessment Simulation 2026: Eighth grade students are taking the math test today.

8th grade students will take the written math test on March 17, as part of the simulation of the National Assessment 2026, after the testing in Romanian language and literature.

The exam will take place simultaneously in over 4,500 educational institutions across the country, and the subjects are prepared by the National Center for Curriculum and Evaluation. Students have two hours to complete the requirements, and the results will be communicated at the end of March. Access to the exam rooms is allowed until 8:30 AM, and the testing starts at 9:00 AM. Strict rules prohibit the introduction of personal items and communication between candidates, and violating these rules will lead to disqualification from the exam.

The simulation will conclude on March 18 with the test in the mother tongue and literature, and the subjects and grading scales will be available on the Ministry of Education's website on the same day at 3:00 PM.
