The National Assessment 2026 for the 4th grade begins on Tuesday, May 19, with the test in Language and Communication, according to the official calendar of the Ministry of Education. The tests will take place during class hours, each test lasting 60 minutes.

On May 20, students will take the test in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and on May 21, the test in Mother Tongue will take place. The results obtained will not be publicly displayed but will be included in each student's educational portfolio.

The assessment is organized by the Ministry of Education to verify the competencies acquired by students at the end of the primary cycle. The papers are evaluated by two teachers, and the results are analyzed at the school level to identify any learning difficulties.

At the request of parents, the results can be converted into grades and entered into the register.
