University professor doctor Mihai Dimian, rector of 'Ștefan cel Mare' University in Suceava, has been proposed and unanimously validated for the position of Minister of Education and Research. This decision was made during a meeting of the National Political Bureau of the National Liberal Party, chaired by the president of PNL and the Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan.

During the meeting, Dimian presented his vision for the reform and development of the educational system in Romania. PNL supports Mihai Dimian as an independent, aiming to contribute to the efficiency of education in accordance with the government program.
