The 2026 Baccalaureate session resumed on Wednesday, July 1, with the mandatory profile test, after the scheduled testing for June 30 was postponed due to the red heatwave alert. On Thursday, July 2, candidates will take the exam in their chosen subject, and graduates who studied in a minority language will have their final assessment on Friday, July 3. The Ministry of Education reported a participation rate of 98.2% in the Romanian language and literature test, with 120,119 candidates present out of 122,319 registered.
