Victor Negrescu, Vice President of the European Parliament, stated that Romania should return to a fiscal framework that supports micro-enterprises in the period 2027-2028, once the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) is completed in August 2026. He emphasized the importance of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, mentioning that small companies are essential for the real economy of the country. Additionally, Negrescu highlighted the collaboration with SMEs Romania to build the first AI factory in Romania and stressed the need for the approval of the European legislation simplification package.
