In the first half of 2025, Transgaz reported a gross profit of 606 million lei, a significant increase compared to the same period in 2024. Operating revenues totaled 1.57 billion lei, while expenses amounted to 1.01 billion lei, reflecting a profitability of 30%. The company's shares have risen 94.53% in the last 12 months, and Transgaz remains the gas transmission monopoly in Romania, operating a 14,000-kilometer network. The government owns 58.5% of the shares.
