Transgaz allocates over 108 million lei for the first section of the Huedin-Lugașu gas pipeline

Transgaz is allocating between 96.17 million and 108.87 million lei, excluding VAT, for the construction of the first section of the Huedin-Lugașu natural gas transmission pipeline. The investment covers the section between kilometers 0 and 35 and includes the pipeline, electricity supply, cathodic protection and optical fiber installation.

The works will take place in localities in the counties of Cluj, Sălaj and Bihor: Poieni, Ciucea, Negreni, Fildu de Jos, Sâg and Bratca. The estimated value of the works ranges from 63.484 million to 76.181 million lei, while Transgaz will provide the contractor with materials, machinery and equipment worth 32.686 million lei.

The contract will be awarded through an open tender, based on the best price-quality ratio, and will have a duration of 18 months. Funding will come from the company’s own funds. Bids can be submitted by October 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

Participants must demonstrate that they have carried out similar works worth at least 63.484 million lei over the past five years. Transgaz reported net profit of 303.658 million lei for the first half of the year, down 41.49% from the same period in 2025.
