The National Bank of Romania published the exchange rate for September 8, 2025, highlighting an appreciation of the Romanian leu. The dollar was quoted at 4.3253 lei, the lowest level in the last two weeks. The leu gained almost one and a half bani against the British pound and almost one ban against the euro, but lost against the Swiss franc. Additionally, the price of a gram of gold increased, exceeding 500 lei, reaching 502.5817 lei.
