The Ministry of Finance will borrow 7.99 billion lei in October for the refinancing of public debt and covering the budget deficit.

In October, the Ministry of Finance planned loans of 7.99 billion lei through the issuance of bonds and treasury certificates. This amount is 995 million lei higher than the schedule from September. The funds will be used for refinancing public debt and covering the budget deficit. Auctions for bond and certificate issuances will take place throughout the month, including an issuance of 400 million lei on October 9 and 14 benchmark bond issuances.
