The Ministry of Finance, led by Alexandru Nazare, has planned, in October 2025, loans from commercial banks amounting to 7 billion lei, to which an additional 990 million lei can be added from supplementary sessions of non-competitive offers related to bond auctions.

Recently, the ministry borrowed 1.1 billion lei through two issues of government bonds, with average yields of 7.10% and 7.11%.

These loans are intended for refinancing and early repayment of public debt, as well as financing the budget deficit.

Compared to September, the total planned amount is 995 million lei higher, reflecting the increased financial needs of the state.
