In December 2025, industrial production prices recorded an increase of 0.4% compared to the previous month and 6% compared to the same month in 2024, according to data published by INS. On the domestic market, prices rose by 0.3% compared to November 2025 and by 6.5% compared to December 2024. Externally, the advance was similar, with an increase of 0.4% compared to the previous month and 4.6% compared to the previous year. Analyzing the major industrial groups, the most significant annual increases were observed in the Energy Industry (8.4%) and in the Consumer Goods Industry (5.6%). However, compared to November, prices in the Durable Goods Industry and in the energy sector decreased by 0.4% and, respectively, 0.6%. The largest annual price increases were recorded in coal extraction (11%) and in energy production (10%), while the largest decreases were in the manufacturing of other means of transport (-4.4%) and crude oil extraction (-3%).
